I think I'm fairly even-handed all things considered!
Ooh, the first time in ages I don't write my own front page teaser and naughty old Pastey goes and accuses me of panning Star Wars. I'll give him ever such a slap when I catch up with him...
(You know, if I'd written this two weeks ago I might have had an entry in the 'most popular conversations' list. But no, I thought, I'll say nice things about that British low-budget werewolf movie instead, people will still want to discuss Star Wars in a week or two. Go on! Prove me right!)

I have to admit that I haven't seen Star Wars yet, so I've no idea as to the quality.
As to my front page ramblings, let's just say that a fair few fingers of Ammeretto have an effect

I read this great comic in the paper yesterday. The diolouge in said comic went something like this:
"You know when you ask for a bike for christmas, but you get a scooter instead? WELL I REALLY WANTER A BICYCLE, GEORGE!"
I think that sums it up quite nicely, don't you? I mean, I liked Epi. II, but I really, //really// wanted a bicycle.

~Greebo jumps off the fence...~
Me really enjoyed it... ~grin~... except for that kid who made rude bum noises at the start... when everything went quiet just before the opening credits rolled...

Well, GL has said Ep III will be 'uncommercial' which to me suggests it won't make much money = kids won't get in = 12 cert. or worse.
The first showing I went to, the ratings card got a round of applause... and a voice form behind me shouted 'you should all get out more.' Not to mention cries of 'Easy tiger!' when Anakin was puttin' his smooth moves on the senator.

Personally I liked the catcalls from the Denver Colorado audience when Anakin (Christiansen) was shirtless.
Very /very/ nice.

So, not that many people wanna talk about ep2 anymore, huh? That's a shame, cos while it wasn't an amazing film to watch, it's a good one to talk about.
(actually I was getting confused about what day it was and looking for the new edition of the post, but I thought I'd better say something while I was here)

I wouldn't say so - JJ's review had an 81+ post thread last time I checked!

Hmm, true, but then again that's conversation for you. Plus it is three weeks since the movie came out.
