I'm not scared of spiders, but I'm not a fan, and I guess I'd have screamed had I found one in my jeans.

And you're mean for buying the wrong sort of yoghurt.

Those people are mean for making those yoghurt containers like that. It's hard to get a spoon in.

The spider problem seems to have abated. A nice man came with a spray gun and put up a chemical barrier. But those were really large garden spiders. I was afraid to step on them, because their remains would have stained the carpet.

I found two of that sort behind a cupboard (in the house where I go cleaning) the other week. Huge . They were out of reach, though, so I left them in peace.

As long as nobody could see them, nobody would be bothered.

We just have to watch out for the smaller ones, the brown recluse. Apparently this nasty biting spider has made it to the UK now.

Yes. A lady in western North Carolina had to move out of her house because of an infestation.

Hurrah! I have my laptop back! Which means I can get at my documents. Good, because I want to send out a job application.

This is nice. Now we have two computers again.

I have the old keyboard, as well. When I get my scanner set up again, we'll see if we can get a picture of it. It should be worth something as an objet d'art.
