I believe that contrary to your propaganda , San Miguel originates in the Philipines. Also double maxim used to be a bloody good draught beer.

Yes there is a San Miguel in the Philipines, but it doesn't appear to the same as the San Miguel that is brewed in Barcelona - different companies woth different brand logos on the bottle. They may well have had some link in the past, I don't really know. And frankly for such a terrible beer I couldn't be bothered to dig further to find out
As for the Double Maxim, yes I've heard that it was good once. It just wasn't good at the moment it landed on top of me in the form of projectile vomit, and that sadly is my abiding memory of that beer
