In case you were wondering about the recent run on italics submitting entries to Peer Review, every couple of weeks, we're coming up with ideas for entries and then we're picking them out of a hat. I got this one from Abi. I didn't know anything about gerbil keeping but now I do!
Let me know what you think

A fine entry.
Though I did laugh out loud at your sentence 'When taken home for the holidays they are lost down the back of the sofa, or are disastrously eaten by the family cat'
One thing I'd think about changing - 'small carers' to 'small caretakers'. While reading it, I stumbled over 'carers' briefly before divining your meaning.
But overall, this was a nice one.
And I wondered why you, and not Abi, wrote this...

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
