A Conversation for Things I Have Learned Since Becoming a Father
What about the girl then?

Having been through mcu of the same (only our kids are girl first, boy last), I offer my sincerest sympathies...
I did come to think of the training course for prospective parents which had one excersise approx like this:
1. Make a hole with a diameter about 2 cm into a watermelon
2. Hang the watermelon from a string as a pendulum and set it in motion
3. Now, using a teaspoon try to put baby food into the whole without resorting to grabbing the watermelon and holding it still
4. When about halfway through, tip the bowl with the remainder of the babyfood into your lap...
Oh, wasn't it times...

Yes, I have seen that one around before! How true it is.
I haven't written very much about the baby yet because, well, she is just so good! I can't bring myself to find something to laugh about yet, but as she gets more mobile I'm sure I will find lots of things. I will continue on the article over the next few years or so - probably focusing on the dynamic between the two of them. Should be interesting...

Oh, there will, I'm sure. Our boy developed allergy to the word "no" at about 1 yr. Simply put, upon saying the word, we had about 44 nanoseconds to secure everything within his reach that wasn't nailed solid to something else - if we failed, it flew...!
