Nbcdnzr, the dragon was slain, and there was much rejoicing

Nice entry, though there's something I don't understand. I knew about the paradox (but not its name, or the explanations). But I always thought the explanations was in the presence of black holes. Presumably there would be enough black holes to block out a major part of the light from distant stars. How much of this is true?
