This was submitted to writing workshop, and got no comments and was eventually moved to the Flea Market. I think that it's ready as it is, so I'm putting it into PR. I'm happy to look after it, as the Researcher has been gone for almost 6 months.

Word has that it's not the shortest... It had previously been through the WW before I found it.
