Ages ago, a star went nova, screaming its death and eventual resurrection to the void. Ten million years later, it's still exploding, only at a slow, stately rate, spreading its arms of gas and ash like waves and ribbons. This evident from the telescopes at one corner. The dining tables have been folded away and someone's been using the open space for street hockey.
