The Footbacon Fennel!
Zak T Duck Started conversation Aug 1, 2004
It's been too long since our last Manchester meet, so I'm proposing we have one to coincide with Footbacon's birthday trip to Mancland on the 14th.
How about it? Any suggestions for things to do, where to get drunk and of course to sign up, please leave a message at the bleep.

Wot about another curry?

A curry would be good, what does everyone else thing *polite nudge to get the Committee's attention*

A curry would be fine by me, as would going into chinatown.
As for drinking I've said Bar Fringe before and will say it again.
Bar Fringe!
Or some other non circuit type of pub (eg The Peveril, Rain Bar, the Knott, Bar Centro, The Lass)
I seem to have just listed some of my favourite pubs there, anyone else have some ideas?

We haven't done Chinatown for a while....which is that pub you keep telling me about Phil, the one with the bike?

Chinatown has the added advantage of it being fairly central, no trek out of town for food and then back in for drink. Maybe I'm just being lazy

The pub with the bike above the door (inside) is Bar Fringe, Swan St. The Other side of the city centre to the Lass (though near Victoria station if that helps).

So it looks like it's a chinese someplace in Chinatown (any suggestions as to where anyone?), followed by drinks at Bar Fringe.

Eeh I'm rusty at this guide entry writing, I must start thinking of some stuff to make some more.
