What about Fawlty Towers, Steptoe and Son, Only Fools and Horses, The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy, Dad's Army, The Brittas Empire, "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme", Men Behaving Badly, Yes Minister, Yes Prime Minister, One Foot in the Grave, Monty Python, Hancock's Half Hour, Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em, Blackadder, The League of Gentlemen, The Young Ones, Absolutely Fabulous, The Office, The Royle Family and, last but not least, Bottom.
And what have the Americans brought us? Cheers, Frasier and Friends. That's it.

But I agree, British comedy are the best!!!
