Status report smiley - winkeye

I've got a lot of this done, but I've been thinking, and some entries are unmanagably long. I'm gonna break one up into quite a few entries and a some others into somewhat small ones.

Anyway, this project is a bit of a race against the clock, but I got a good deal of stuff done today. So my question is when do you think I should finish the entries so that Master B will have time to sub them?

We've currently got 5 in the queue for the Front Page, so you've got a minimum of five and a bit weeks. If I were you, I'd ask Master B how long he'll need to sub them. smiley - ok

Okay, to settle something for B, project entries will or will not appear on the front page after the initial finished projects queue has run out?

If we get to the Monday when the project of the time comes off and there's nothing to replace it, then no, after that we won't be putting any more projects on the Front Page, they'll have to go through PR. If we get any more in before that happens, then the queue will lengthen. Does that make sense?

I don't think I have time, all of the sudden, to work on all of the parts of this project.

May I revise it to be Project The Legends of American Baseball? 'Twould be less work for you... smiley - grovel

If not, I'll work on this one anyway.

As long as it has three entries, then that's fine. I won't tell if you won't. smiley - winkeye

Just an update. I've finally finished my 14 entries, but Hypatia and Wildman are working on theirs smiley - smiley

I'm going over the writing tonight (The worst, but easiest part for me)

Ach. I wish I had more time because I had to leave out some really great players. Oh well. I'll be sure to put them through Peer Review later on.

But Master B is having internet connections. Whattaya reckon? Go with whatever you decide, I don't care. I won't be able to respond for a while... Veteran's Day here in the States. He said that if he's having problems, he'll be back mid-September, but I'm not sure that's soon enough to have the entries on the front page. I know Wildman U225113 volunteered to sub some entries, but two of them were actually written by him.

Also, the entry on Stan Musial is done for content, but I posted the GuideML for the entry on Stan Musial below the entry.

Hi there,

I've passed the project over to Ashley to see if he can find a sub for it in the time left. It might be that we'll need a couple of volunteers, so be nice to all the subs, as this will be a lot of work needed quickly. smiley - smiley

Don't forget to take copies if you want them, as we edit the originals. smiley - ok
Well done!

Oh good, you're online. smiley - smiley I'd suggest that you post to the Sub's home page and ask if anyone is prepared to take this on with such a short time to get it finished. Do lots of grovelling. smiley - winkeye
