Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Aug 14, 2005
Seen the first 3 hours tonight.
It's a pretty desert island, what was that polar bear doing there?
And did you notice it stopped raining the moment the dad told his son he'd go search for his dog as soon as it stopped raining?
You'd think they'd welcome the rain ( and try to collect it!) they haven't found fresh water yet, have they?
Instead of moaning about it - it's not Britain in the summer!
I also think that girl with the marshall is very interesting. She probably murdered the guy who raped her under-age sister or something you can justify.
How many times are we going to see the plane crashing? I feel sick when I see those people falling out the back of the plane.
And what's with the old guy with the whistle (who gave the dog back to the dad?) He's
Was the farmer bloke (who turned in Kate/Annie) Paul Hogan? Looked and sounded like him but it's not mentioned in my tv mag.
I like that doctor. He reminds me of someone - oh yes, the "plumber" in Desperate Housewives.
Will you be watching X-Factor next Saturday? I watched that last year, totally hooked. I supported G-4 all the way through and they ended up 2nd!Love Simon Cowell, he's so honest, and he gives praise when it's due. And I love the heats, some of them are ing awful
When's the 4th episode of "Lost" on? Don't wanna miss that...

E4 Wednesday the 17th of August at 11:00 p.m.
The survivors are woken in the middle of the night by sounds coming from the plane's fuselage. When they step in to investigate, wild boars charge from the wreckage. Locke suggests that they hunt the boar, as food supplies are dwindling fast. Meanwhile, Jack discusses what to do with the dead bodies, which are attracting the attention of the island's wildlife.
It's finally agreed that they must be burnt, but some survivors are horrified by the suggestion. Elsewhere, Kate and Sayid try to locate the source of the French signal by setting up antennas around the island, but Kate drops and breaks her antenna when she sees the mysterious beast rampaging through the woods...

I would have thought BURY THEM would be an ideal answer?
I wonder if the island is a magic island, reading their thoughts and then making them come true (the father with the rain, the wild bears etc.)
If you were stranded on a desert island, and it started to rain - wouldn't you at least try and catch some of the rain, to save to drink later?
I'd have thought that would have been common sense, but *shrug*
Next ep. Wednesday?

I thought it looked as if they did try to collect the water when it started raining, but it could have just been that they made shelters to protect them from the rain. I dunno.
I watched most of the "Behind the Scenes" show on E4 last night, and it was very interesting.
They mentioned that the polar bear appeared after Walt (the kid) was reading the comic book that had a story where there was a polar bear attacking people.
I like the twists and turns so far, though. I was very very close to falling for temptation to start downloading the episodes to watch, but I ended up just getting the first part of the pilot as I missed that on Wednesday night. HOpefully, it'll be ready for when I get back home after work today.

In Ireland we're about half way through the first season. At first I just thought that it was average stuff, and I personally didn't like the supernatural elements in it. But I think it was the fifth episode, where they explain some of the back-story for Locke, that started to get me really interested. I could barely believe that twist!
As far as I remember, I don't think the plane crash is ever seen again after the third or fourth episode. And don't worry, the water issue will be dealt with soon enough.

Of course, the episode on C4 tonight at 10PM is the same as was shown on E4 at 11PM last week, and again on E4 on Sunday night. Hopefully I'll make it back from football practice by then, though.

I just got the entire first series from my Team Leader at work.. I'll just save them to my HDD and see if I can contain myself to just watching one episode at a time.
Doesn't seem like it at the moment..

Lucky you. I watched the E4 episode last night Lockes secret reveiled.

Yep. Didn't see that one coming.
Now I just HAVE to watch some of the other episodes. A friend of mine that's already seen mmost of them has told me something that happens close to episode 10 or so, and I'm getting very curious as to how and when it's going to happen.
I'm thinking it'll be a case of hooking the DVD player from the spare machine I've got at home to the one I use regularly and then copy all the episodes over to the HDD tonight. Can't wait.
My guesstimate is that I'll have finished watching the entire series by September 1st...

According to the behinhd-the-scenes documentary they showed on E4 on Sunday, you'll see a lot of the main characters in the flashback images of the other characters. Like HUrley on the TV in the background when they're running a flashback scene for the Japanese guy and stuff like that. You just have to keep your eyes open for it.
