The creative juices are flowing today! You can tear this to bits if you like - it only took a few minutes to whip up.

Definitely no need to tear it to bits!
I found two typos here:
devloped -> developed
cardinal sing -> cardinal sin
...and the 1st person writing at the bottom ought to be rephrased into something like
"This researcher thinks that..."
or
"There ought to be a link..."
... and I learned something new

This is just me putting in a crafty meaningless post, to bump my entry up to the top of the list in the hope that more people will read it.
How rude.

Is it true what I learnt off the SEB thread? That Janet Ellis of Blue Peter fame (in my day at least) is the mother of Sophie Ellis Bexter???
Good article BTW

Ta very much Orcus. Have a
My Wallace and Gromit article (A724169) is sat in that interesting 'Pending' bit where it takes a couple of years to make the front page, so I'm familiar with the Sub-Ed process.

Oh...and yes, she is Janet Ellis daughter. I thought they looked very similar, but that obviously didn't strike you.
I tend to assume everyone's a Goo fan. It's a strange thought to imagine anyone viewing all these lovely pages in any other skin.

Yes, they do look like each other but I have to say I'd forgotten all about the existence of Janet Ellis until this article cropped up.
Wasn't she kicked off Blue Peter for getting pregnant? Wonder if SEB was the offending foetus?
Yes my articles tend to 'pend' for quite some time too
My latest effort is not even pending yet and was recommended months ago. It is a little (or a lot ) on the techy side though so I guess the poor sub-ed has got it on the bottom of their pile
Nice to see a relative newcomer being into goo
It was the only skin when I joined the site but I always suspect a lot of newcomers don't even know of its existence since alabaster is the default skin.

Funny thing, really. My very first h2g2 experience I tripped across that highly militaristic group of people, the Goo Fan Club. Ever since then, I haven't dared change back. It's easier on the eye, anyway.
