why are some of the names in different formats? Some bold, others italic, some both, and some neither? Is there any rhyme or reason to this?

The italics are the staff of the site - the bold italics were the staff at the time this page was created, the non-bold were ex-staff. The only person on here who is still staff is Jimster.
