Open University Maths Courses

This page will not really be of any interest to anyone unless you are doing the courses listed or are intending to do them and want to ask what I thought of them. There is already adequate information in the guide about the open university and it's courses.

You can find some general information about the Open University here

More general information including how to live with an O.U. student can be found here.

Maths Courses I have done with the O.U.

2000 - MU120 (Open Mathematics)

A very basic introduction to all areas of Mathematics

2001 - MDST242 (Statistics in Society)

Very interesting practical approach to Statistics

2001 - MS242 (Elements of Statistics)

The dullest course I have done with the OU. I just guessed my way through the exam and hoped for the best(still passed)

2002 - MST121 (Using Mathematics)

Current

2002 - MS221 (Exploring mathematics)

Current

Perhaps I should suggest my tutor registers with h2g2 so that I can study without logging off.
