Largely painless changeover

..in Ireland.
There may be some inflationary effect due to the fact that retailers are starting to round prices up but it hasn't sent the economy into a tailspin.
Personally the only problem I have is remebering that the things are called Euro and not Euros...so when you write a check it has to be:

Although the shops were meant to accept Marks until the end of February, most of them were refusing by the middle of January.. Most people were paying just with Euro by then. Apart from everythings fine. It will take a while to get used to the new prices, but thats just the same as moving to another country.. (Been there, done that)
