As a Brit living in Finland at the time of the changeover, I'm very happy with the currency.
Finland is odd in that it doesn't use the 1 or 2 cent coins, but does charge prices such as €3,26 so your shopping bill just rounds up to the nearest five.
Finnish 1 or 2 cent coins do exist (I saw a lot of coin collectors in these threads who may wish to know) but they've mostly been snapped up by the Bank of finland for quite large amounts of cash.
Value rising fast on those, I shouldn't doubt.
