We here at the Canadian Researchers' Club A1037323 have been busily getting together ideas for both a Banner for our page and a Badge to be used on members' and honorary members' personal spaces.
At this point consensus for the Banner seems to be centering on something like this: http://public.fotki.com/Mudhooks/my_stuff/just_plain_old_sill/cdrc2.html
Consensus on a Badge seems to be something like this: http://public.fotki.com/taliesyn/graphics/crc3.html
Our discussion of the designs is on this thread: F122884?thread=589585 On this thread may be found the reasons for the various elements in the designs that have been put together.
As mentioned, we have both members (actual Canadians) and honorary members (should-be Canadians). The Badge should have two versions to reflect that fact.
We would be very interested in having a Community Artist put something like our designs into a format that would be suitable for H2G2.

Actually, I looked at the page after I posted--the CAs aren't taking requests for a while...

Haven't got a clue. Well, at least if the scheme starts up again, this'll be at the top of the conversation list

Actually, I do have a clue. They suspended quite a long time after I posted my request. They were having trouble finding enough community artists for everything back then.
Key: Complain about this post
