Hi Demetrius,
I've just checked, and you've not quite incorporated them all.
It would be good to give the translation of the Choctaw phrase and include these:
'Under OK, the OED (Oxford English Dictionary) says also that the Choctaw 'oke' = 'it is' and that it may have come from the French 'au quai', or from the West African language Wolof via slaves from the southern states'.

Thank you for pointing this out to me. I placed it in the fifth paragraph, as it seemed most appropriate. Also, I was wondering if you were aware that "au quai" means "at the quay" or "at the dock?" What does that have to do with OK?

Yes (part of my degree was in French). However I'm not entirely certain, except that it was in the OED. Best to ignore it, probably!

Zarquon, I have a question about H2G2 in general. And since you are an ace, I thought that you might be able to help. If not, please tell me where I can get it.
My question is this: When one searches through the guide and views the results, it shows the ID, the subject, the status, and the score. I was wondering what the score is and what causes it to go up and down.

Hi Demetrius!
First, the good news. Your entry has been recommended for entry in the guide. This means that it will be sent to a sub-editor who will prepare it for its appearance on the front page. Hopefully, the sub will post to you to let you know progress on the entry.
Secondly, I've always wondered about the scoring as well. I believe it is a correlation with how well your chosen words fits with the entry, and there are probably extra points for them being in the title. I would think that h2g2 counts the number of times the word or phrase appears in the entry. I could find out!
Anyway, once again, congratulations!

Yes, I got an e-mail about my entry being recommended!
I'm excited!

Just be aware that it can sometimes take quite a while for an entry to appear on the front page. Excited, but patient ... and ready for your next entry?

About my next entry, a day after I entered my OK entry I submitted another one. The entry is Four Great Card Tricks: A700192
No one has realy reviewed it yet, and I would be interested in your opinion.
