smiley - smiley It is true about Tracey, I'm afraid. He was about six feet outside the area, the striker tried to chip the ball over him, and he palmed it down with both hands. Or so it seemed, but it is amazing what they can do with computerised special effects on TV these days... smiley - winkeye

When I gloatingly told my sheffield united supporting flatmate Debs about the Blades "performance" on Saturday, she told me that she didn't care because I couldn't make her as depressed as I was after the FA Cup last week smiley - sadface

I was joking earlier when I suggested that the Sheffield United should have points deducted, but now I've read on http://www.teamtalk.com that it is a real possibility! A 10 point deduction is apparently being considered - enough to drop the Blades deep into relegation trouble! smiley - bigeyes

A 10 point deduction is just the Mirror talking pairs of male hanging parts. Even if they did we would still get out of trouble as it would only put us 22nd with a game and a shed full of goals in hand.

Oh, and I suppose I'm the only one who noticed that Santos connected with the ball before the player.

Perhaps some people were distracted by the way he lunged in almost horizontally, a foot off the ground, both sets of studs first? There may be a coaching manual somewhere that recommends that as a way of winning the ball, but somehow I doubt it... smiley - tongueout
