I'm puzzled about England being dark one hour earlier though, as they're one hour behind us in time

UK it get dark the same time as in rest of Europe, but their clock is one hours behind

let say is 5pm in Europe and it is dark the time in the UK that 4pm and also dark

I never knew that, thought they were one hour further west
So obviously no nice place to be in winter

it is nice in UK around Xmas, but stay in town and in a forrest

....I am night blind so I do not like darkness
