This is the first of, hopefully, many reviews of Mr David Bowie I hope to produce over the coming months. I've begun with what I feel is the most challenging area of his musical output, that of the 1990s. This, the most under-rated (and under-heard?) aspect of his career, may well have passed many h2g2 readers by and, it is hoped, the extremely important albums released between 1990 and 1999 by this chameleon of pop (hackneyed phrase but nonetheless appropriate) should be (re)assessed by fan and non-fan alike.
