Its useful to hear from people whove actually used it anyway-thanks for the tips-especially about the epson printers-I have one, so I will make a mental note to update all the drivers when I install. Basically it sounds like its a good idea tomake sure you're up to date with everything?!
just doing an update on my ibook as we speak 
What does time machine actually do anyway? sorry if that's a dumb question

It's just a bit of backup software, but unlike others because of it's fancy shmancy interface.
