I see no mention of my edited guide articles on BUGs or the Dun Run. And, I've just been accepted as a Right to Ride rep for the CTC. Yay!

Well done my friend, does this mean we,ll be seeing you on Phil Liggets ride in the Pennines this year then. Any way good luck with the CTC job.
I'm a BC member myself as a racing cyclist, but don't you think it would be a good idea if
they joined forces to make one big organisation more power towards riders rights.

Heh. I don't think I'm quite up to the "challenge", as it were.
Not sure about the whole joining BC and CTC idea. While I hear plenty about the CTC I can't say I've ever really heard much about BC, and I suppose it would depend on the differences between the two organisations. I seem to remember a similar furore about LCC and the CTC a few years back. Eventually they decided to remain separate, and I think that's probably for the best. BC is more concerned with racing, isn't it?

Your quite right BC are mainly a sporting organisation, but like the CTC they do have a very good legal department for the protection of their members and good insurance cover when cycling anywhere.
But I feel teaming up would give us more clout when lobbying for riders rights, strength in numbers so to speak.
Key: Complain about this post
