Many thanks for these, h5ringer. Although I haven't been able to watch the actual competition myself you've managed to bring all the excitement to me via the Post! It's been a fantastic series of articles and it's made me look forward to the final.

Great review. Thanks for the info on all the works out there for percussion instruments. I had no idea what variety existed. I found these young performers very brave and poised for their age.
