A Warning about Alcohol
Something a friend sent to me on the net, definitely a warning on the downsides of alcohol excess...
Until now, we've only touched the surface...
So what on am I talking about? The prize jewel in the BBC's crown; the Natural History Unit, has been working like a very hard-working thing, and come up with the best natural history series since, well, the last one.
Groundbreaking filming led the film crew to discover creatures in the very deepest oceans which had never been seen before. And also, the frightening truth about tuna... I'll never be cruel to a can of the pink stuff ever again...
Narrated by the voice of natural history, King of Narrators: David Attenborough, The Blue Planet is a stunning display of a few of the secrets of the oceans. And for your aural pleasure, the soundtrack is never invasive, and, just like the visuals, breathtaking.
We know more about the surface of the moon than we do about our own oceans... like the tag-line says, we have only touched the surface.
...but why on would you want to leave the safe confines of the wonderful world of h2g2? Why?
Why I ask you?!?
No, don't go away, I didn't mean it! Please - come back! It's not safe out there!
