What are you after, FABT? 
Hey, I've been meaning to ask you (you prolly know better than me about this sorta thing) - I saw part of the Buffy movie recently and there was a character in it called Pike who in build, dress-sense, etc, everything but hairstyle, accent, and vitality, was a dead ringer for Spike from the TV show. Pike - Spike.
Is this just a coincidence? Has Joss spoken on this topic at all?

to my knowledge Joss hasn't spoken about it at all. but you have to remember, buffy was in the movie too........it was a very diluted version of what joss wanted, maybe spike slipped in through the cracks.
and i dont want anything Awix, honest.
