Well, I don't like him. I remember reading a Dredd story in 2000AD where all these judges from around the world, who were nothing better than a bunch of crude, unfunny stereotypes, did battle for some kind of prize in the Arctic. I read it, thought "This is f*****g garbage", and never bought 2000AD again.

He is the Jim Davidson of the comics world. Crass, unfunny, and yet he still gets work. I could s**t better plots than his.
Ahem.

Dr Gonzo - I think the Dredd story you're thinking of there is 'Judgement Day', which was written by Garth Ennis.
And have you read the Ultimates? Or The Authority? Both Millar, both pretty good.
Back in the day, I used to think exactly as you do about Millar; an awful lot of his 2000AD work I still consider lacklustre at best, and there are a few scurrilous rumours that he got more than a bit of work on the strength of his friendship with Grant Morrison.
However, he's gotten a lot better, IMO.
