The thing that I miss most about being at University is there not being an art-house cinema within easy striking distance. I have to hope and pray that a movie gets picked up for 'director's chair' or whatever at the local multiplex.
Oh well... enjoyed the review...

Myself, i had to go to a theatre that was about 40 minutes away from where I live. So it wasn't at all easy for me to see it, either.
It's getting really good reviews in the States, so methinks it'll be in the "normal" theatres in about a month or so.

Mmmm, I dunno about that... it got a UK art-house release at least two months ago and no sign of it in my neck of the woods (not that I've truthfully been keeping an eagle eye out for it).

My only DVD player is in my PC and I don't much fancy sitting in front of a 12" screen for two hours...
Plus I've got 150+ VHS tapes, which makes switching over to a new format a stressful prospect.

I still have a whole bunch of VHS's but I just have been buying DVD's like a mad starved meth-crazed weasel. ..On crack... Or something.
It's the novelty, probably.
