Well, for those of us who joined and experencied the site while the URL was still h2g2.com and pre-Rupert?

At the moment the rules are, you have to have joined within the first month. I'm considering changing them, but I plan to automate the listing first, a combination of the newusers page and the last posted feature on PSs should make it fairly easy to find active, old researchers.
I'll let you know if/when the rules change.

Maybe the not-so-OAP among the researchers could come up with an abbreviation of our own?

Or maybe something beginning with 'ante Rupert'? AR... ah! Researcher! That would make ARR

...but then, of course, that would include OAPs as well as MAPs...

I have no problem with a combined group as well. We could have an ARR homepage linking to the OAP and MAP pages.
