A Conversation for Tales of Benshasha: Magical Cures

I enjoy your tales, PedanticBarSteward. Not just tales, they're an insight into another world.
Pissing on a wound wasn't restricted to that part of the world, perhaps isn't even now (if I need to) ...
My father-in-law, a farmer, showed me the scar of a gash in the leg, won in a remote field, that would have been really quite bad - the day after I had, at his insistence, peed over a not too shallow cut on my hand - "now go home and clean it up properly".

Glad you enjoy the tales. You are right, peeing on wounds seems to be commonplace (in 'primitive' cultures) and, as the chemist in Casa said, it works better than most 'proper' medicines.
