She is one of my heroes. One of my friends went to school with her.
There was a really good BBC link when I started researching this. It's not there any more. Boo!
Comment please!

A great entry on a truly great comic Only thing I found was "*add a couple more here*" next to the link to the scripts of sketches.

! I thought I'd sorted that out. I have now.
I also found the really good BBC interview about 'Dinnerladies', but *not* from the BBC!

Lovely Entry on a great performer. Good links too. I like that in an Entry!
There are just a couple of bits that seem to me to read a bit awkwardly. The second sentence doesn't quite make sense, but it would if it ended something like: '...Victoria Wood is certainly an exception to that one'. Also, the sentence beginning 'During 1978, Wood met actress Julie Walters...' is very long, and could probably do with being broken up.
But those are just minor nitpicks about a very fine piece of work!

Hey that wasn't bad. And it tought me about someone I would have never known anything about. I can't really come up with any suggestions exect maybe add one or two subject headings to help organize the entry.

I think she did the Audience with Victoria wood in 1990 not 1980 but apart from that a good entry...

Thanks for the comments. I've made all the amendments suggested, except adding more headings, as I had difficulty with that one (sorry Dorian! - I can see what you mean, though).
As I've organised it following her career, I couldn't think where another heading should go, except perhaps after the early stuff, but all I could think of was 'TV career', which sounds a bit naff and doesn't cover everything as she performs live (although word has it that this year may be her last as a performer) and has a healthy writing career. If you have a specific suggestion for a heading, I'll be happy to hear it.
