I think the response of the rest of the crew is just as entertaining. I still laught to myself about D'Argo saying, "One Mippippippi, Two Mippippippi..". They are just the touches that keep the episodes interesting through the second and third viewing.
I always catch something new even if I am watching the other characters in the background.

Yes, the actors themselves must find it hard not to laugh out loud when he utters them.
Aeryn does a great puzzled face when he quotes another.
I love his references to Star Trek.
