Welcome Back! I'm glad the air is clear and everyone is enjoying their crunchy breakfast cereal until the next full moon (I'm a little cynical today, although not just about this site, so just ignore me).

Anyway, I enjoyed the article, I believe I have already given you my feedback about the paragraph in question [it didn't offend me, and I suffer that particular problem every two weeks, so I could be seen as more stressed, more frequently], and I just wanted to greet the Brave New H2G2.

Very interesting stuff. Your forgiving mood seems to reflect my own, inexplicable feeling of peace around here. I'm *supposed* to be steaming mad right now, and I'm having a devil of a time figuring out why not. I think Ste solved it for me... check it out on the FFFF page, in a forum with my name on it.

And as I now realize that, while I did get involved with some of the sniper fire in that SBVM forum, I never did give any sort of opinion on it...

I, personally, found it clever and not at all offensive. However, if we accept agcBen's definition of offensiveness (if someone is offended, then it is offensive), then if Peta personally found it to be offensive, it was offensive.

That does not give anyone call to accuse you of gross sexism, nor to extort an apology. I think you handled that situation about as well as it could be handled.

I appreciate the fact that you want to stick to what happened *you*, and why, but it was me that got a warning and not any of the ten people who could be bothered to spell "Hooloovoo" correctly.

I think I'll write a (much shorter) entry like this to remind myself why I was banned. If I do, you could link there from my name, if I can be bothered to write it and you can be bothered to do the edit.
