Terribly sorry for the empty message, folks. It was a bit of a flub on my end. I'm new here. Well, new at this part, anyway.

I wanted to put this up for peer review because, in all honesty, I really like socks. That's it. A friend of mine told me that socks are boring, and no one would be interested in discussing them or reading about them, and I think he's wrong. I hope he's wrong, anyway.

I hope you all agree with me, and will find this entry at least worth reading, if not a grand revelation.

Naah, apparently it wasn't moved because it seems it was written to the bottom of the entry in the first place. The new internal software (in effect since last Monday) doesn't require (nor allow ) you to manually create such a posting on Peer Review or the other review places. Rather than that, see the link/button on the top right corner where it says 'submit for review' or somesuch.

As to the entry itself: I like it and it will sit nicely at the side of A583300, 'The Joy of Socks'
You could use that as part of the intro too, by alluding to the 'death throw' along the lines of 'life after death' -- anyway, just an idea.

'comon' should be 'common'

And finally, the entry would look much nicer if you use the ... tags to *enclose* each single paragraph, rather than using the tag at their ends.

Worn socks, placed into the air intake of someone else's car would also make a nice prank, wouldn't they?

I'd say, amend the GuideML and then try out that new button!
