An article that I ought to have done a few weeks earlier to make today's Front Page. Has a strong section on donations at the mo, but this could be reduced for the sake of the longevity of the article...

Hi, Whoami?

When things are this quiet, I always get the sneaking feeling that something very interesting is happening somewhere else!

I think your entry is really excellent. It is very polished (which is what I'd expect from a Sub-Editor!) and it covers the topic very thoroughly without being too long. Perfect balance!

The only thing I'd even consider changing is in the paragraph headed 'Who are you helping?', where you say 'It helps those who have felt forced to leave home because of this.' Since the previous sentence mentions cancer, abuse and domestic violence, I think it might be better to specify 'because of violence and abuse', or 'because of difficult circumstances', if you're trying to avoid repetition.

Nice work!

Thanks, Azara, I'll alter the stuff appropriately on Sunday afternoon. It was perhaps a little rushed - I wanted to get it at least into PR for the big day!

Too late - CIN was last Friday. Oh well, it's still a useful article to have ready for next time around!
