A Conversation for Detecting Lies

Hi,
you suggest that the only group that knows how to lie is the group of people with aphasia.
I wondered if you might consider the position of the serious poker player. A great deal of the skill in high level poker lies in lying () successfully. How would such a professional liar hold up against a polygraph? I don't know.
Another, though related, aspect of poker, is 'reading' your opponents; ie, judging what they have according to their reactions. This is classic lie detecting, surely?
I just thought it was worth mentioning in this context.
