Channel 4 showed the 102 minute version on new years eve, and that's the version that Warner Brothers are releasing on dvd this month, which might actually force me off my butt to buy a dvd player...
Call me biased, but I really would recommend the longer version.

Hey Blues Shark, have you heard the cover version of Willow's song by The Mock Turtles? It's utterly superb - they've changed some of the lyrics a little, and even written their own lyrics to fill the gaps in the original song.
Dare I say it.... it's even better than the original...

No worries about not being cool just cos you've not heard of them - they're a pretty obscure-ish band; I've only heard of them because of this track, which a friend told me about. It's a bit weird at first, hearing a man's voice instead of a (bad accented) woman, but otherwise it's very faithful to the original.

I'll have to look out for it then.
I noticed that the DVD release in this country runs to 99 mininutes. Presumably a direct from video transfer of the US 102 minute copy.
