A review of the film Capote with some other elements; not a traditional review, though very much in some ways, but involves and draws in the characters, Philip Seymour Hoffman and other Truman Capote works.
I'm eager to hear any/all thoughts on this piece.
Highly recommend this film to all though i remained objective on this part because that is my understanding of the process. i just kept it neat and to the point ~ what the story is about.
Question: can i put this on my OWN private Web site as well or not? Please advise. This was written for h2g2 specifically, but it would fit well on my site about film in general... thank you.

Hi Sadi. I owe you a bit of an apology, because I have expressed some cynicism about your past works, having found them elsewhere on the Net. Not that I suggested for a minute that you weren't writing them, but that it was was a bit uncharitable to be flogging your wares all over the Net. I am convinced, now, that you genuinely want to write for h2g2, and we can't have enough people that do that!
Why not, with this in mind, just post a link from your personal site to this Entry? h2g2 is a pretty high hit on most Search Engines (top in many cases), and there can be no better way to publicise your work than have them accepted here.
Now, onwards. I think your writing is top-notch. It's accessible, readable and entertaining. However, you seem to specialise in movie/book/play reviews which, even with the best will in the world, can never be fully objective, can they? As well-written as they are I have mixed opinions as to whether they are entirely suitable for the factual Edited Guide.
C492 has loads of movie-entries. While a lot of them aren't up to the literary standard of this piece, you'll note they do broadly follow a 'Hosue Style'. Now the last thing I want to do is encourage you to follow the flock - you clearly have a right and sufficient talent to be different. However, I think there are some style points that may help: I still feel, when reading your work, like I am reading a newspaper review rather than a factual guide.
Sorry if this sounds harsh; it does come with good intentions. Perhaps you could think about submitting some of your more 'review' articles to the Collective (http://www.bbc.co.uk/collective/). But I hope this doesn't mean that you'd stop writing for h2g2 too.

Hi B ~ thanks for your advice and comments all ~` i moved this to the Collective but now can't sort out how to delete it from here... Do i need to do that? I know there is a way since i did it once before but now i can't sort it out, durrr... frustrating.
I will link to the articles here from my site in the future, that's a good idea and will drive traffic etc so I can post an excerpt and then drive traffic to BBC, which makes a lot of good sense to me... Thanks for this idea. IT solves many problems.
Now, how to delete this and the House entry from H2G2 is another matter entirely ... any ideas?
If you know, do post. Meanwhile, i'll keep fiddling and see if ican suss it out.
Cheers,
Sadi

Obviously you don't need to delete it completely. We have many non-Edited entries on which you can write about anything you like. If you submit non-factuals to Writing-Alternative they'll still make the Front Page in the shape of the Underguide.
To remove this from Peer Review, visit PeerReview, scroll down to the list of entries, and by the right side of this one, you should see a little 'delete' link. That'll do the trick.

Thanks B ~~~ let me try what you say, but i may just leave it where it is, unless it's totally in the wrong place. i figure it just becomes part of the Underguide or i can delete it entirely from the site if that's necessary too... either way works for me. i did put it up on BBC Collective... they seem like a good place for this sort of thing.
Thanks for the tips
sadi
