For Condensers in large coal powered power stations,
I am trying to find out what materials were used for condenser tubes and how they were fixed into the end plates? if the tubes are to be replaced what is the most likely material and fixing method?

Hullo!
Condenser tubes in modern power plants are made from stainless steels or titanium alloys. Older plants used cupronickels or sometimes even brass, but as these wear out they are replced with steel or titanium tubes. I think titanium is more widely used.
The tubes will certainly be welded in place, both during initial construction and when they are replaced.
