"I've moved on to the Fifth Dr now."
I'm currently watching Kinda ... remember slating it when I was 11 ... mainly due to the inflatable snake ... little bit more promising almost 30 years on ...

Roymondo - my favourite game while watching 'The Awakening': imagining that this is the story where the Doctor ditches Tegan and Turlough and takes Jane and Will with him. Just imagine how much better things might have been - he clearly likes them both on first sight more than his proper friends, and they both work really well as companions.
It's such an under-regarded story, yet it's one of the best of his era (although I'm really not a fan of seasons 19 and 20 to be fair).

Watching "The Visitation" ... quite enjoying it. Really will be glad to get rid of the shouty Tegan. I thought Donna Noble had that role in the bag but ...

Yeah, but just think who replaces her... and who replaces *her*.
A bad time for female companions, the mid 80s.

Oh God Peri and her big boobs and whiney voice then Mel and her screaming, the best companion of the 80's and 90's was Ace

didn't realise that comment had resulted in over 100 complaints. Some people obv. had a very boring xmas/new year.

I'm surprised not to have heard of a complaint earlier. The instant I heard him utter the words, I knew it would create ructions.

Me too, actually. The argument in that article is that the new Doctor is actually disappointed that he's *not* ginger, but that's not how I heard it.

It's how I heard it, I assumed the Doctor rather wanted to be ginger; I certainly didn't get the impression that he was relieved.

He wasn´t relieved. When Eccleston was regenerated he looked in the mirror and went something like: "Aww, I´m still not ginger. I´ve always wanted to be ginger."

I've spent my life trying to be as ginger as possible...

Does anyone else reckon that the glove/gauntlet/thingmajig that the main Time Lord was using was the other hand to the one that the Torchwood team discovered?
Doctor Who
Giford Posted Jan 10, 2010
Didn't Torchwood already find the other one of those?
No, I'm more interested in (what I now realise to be)... The Spittle of Rassilon!!!

Why is The Visitation so called? What is a visitation?
Not particularly impressed by the terraleptil. Big hoo-haa because it's the first story to use animatronics in the mask ... but it's clearly still a man in a rubber suit ...
