A Conversation for VO2 Max, A Measure of Athletic Fitness
Becoming a Personal Trainer?

In order to become a fitness instructor or personal trainer in the UK it is necessary to get qualifications like CYQ, OCR, City and Guilds.I have also heard of Active IQ of late and am not sure which is the best.
What is even more confusing and frustrating than which Awarding Body to use is the sheer volume of training providers offering fitness trainer courses and qualifications.
Can anyone provide some impartial advice, guidance or signposting on where to look for for a great provider, or two at an affordable price? £2500.00 really is too much to pay for a Personal Trainer Course / Qualification!!!

Ouch, tough question. I only wish I knew the answer.
You're more likely to get a respose if you post this to <./>Askh2g2</.> as more people tend to read conversations there.
My best option would be to apply for jobs where they might be able to train you up as part of the role.
