I know the list for new smiley ideas is closed..&..you have loads of suggestions for the future..how often are new smileys created?..is this a fixed time..or..just random..just a curiosity question..

Smileys aren't uploaded to the database like the other pictures. They are part of the 'system' so new batches tend to be introduced when major changes are made to the underlying code. But they're not added at *every* upgrade.
