Hi Lifson!
They're Easter chicks. You know those little yellow fluffy ones?
One I rescued because I found it lying squashed in the street in London, all neglected and looking very sad. The other one was given to me by a stranger that I got chatting to in the ladies loo of the 'Fridge' club in Brixton over the Easter weekend.
I also have a tied-dye purple towel on my desk!

Ah. I was just wondering why on earth you might be keeping a squashed baby chicken on your desk, and why someone would present you with one!!!
All makes more sense now!!!

Don't panic, just go with the flow and don't worry about following any of the conversations on here. It's dead easy, just don't panic!

I've not got chicks, but I've got Increase Mathers, and he's plenty cute and cuddly enough!
I've just found that I've got to spend my 17th birthday in the house, on my own, with only my (non-web-connected) computer for company. Wish I was allowed to get out more!

Mum, Dad, Brother all booked a Committee meeting at the radio club for that day. I don't know why. It's usually the week before. As you probably know if you saw all that fuss before the last meet, I don't get allowed out much So I won't be out with friends, and IM is in Reading at Uni...
Maybe I should rebel, and organise an h2g2 mini-meet at my house for that evening...

Also currently facing overnight quarentine on 17th June due to major massive exam clash. (8 hours in one day. This means having to go home with a teacher for the night, cutting off all lines of commuication to friends/family/everyone else for that time. Probably the closest to a night "out" I'll get for a while!!!

You could always see if you can get your teacher drunk!
Worth a try and may make the night more interesting!

Rather suspicious methinks seeing as I don't drink!!!
I'll probably get sent with my tutor, or possibly the Deputy Principal, as his wife teaches my parents at Uni, and theiy find our slightly unusual living arrangements facinating!!!
However - if EdExcel and AQA get their acts together (Computing and English Lang & Lit is a pretty bad clash), it might not happen yet.
I can hope though!
(How sad must that sound!!!)
