Attempts to explain the appeal of one of those gadgets which clearly shouts "I can't think of anything more sensible to spend my cash on!".

Blatant attempt to get this back up the list in the hope that someone will say something about it.

So how long does it take a busy person (not like myself) a) to understand the intruction book and b) to set up their selection of pre-recorded sets of commands? Presumably a different set is needed for each mood they might return from work in.
Can't see any reason why this shouldn't go straight into the guide. Entertaining, educational ( I thought multiple remotes were those cheap and tacky "all for one" type remotes), accurate as fas as I know (except maybe that bit about a porsche being nice to own ).
Any idea when the range of remotes will be extended to include the neighbours' appliances?
