Hi all, ~Greebo waves at the reader~, it's a nice morning out there as I write this...there's a feeling of Autumn in the air...just the right moment to start my Spring cleaning I think. It pays not to be conventional you know, surprise yourself and do something different today.

This was the question asked a couple of weeks ago, and below is the results of the voting...
Your Favourite Vegetable
- A jolly lot of you, in fact 42% thought that chocolate would make the best vegetable, even though you all knew it wasn't actually a vegetable, so really you couldn't possibly vote for it!!
- 25% of researchers choose the most basic of all vegtables the humble potato, baked, mashed or chipped!!
- A more than a few amount (21%) admitted to not eat vegetables at all and that they were totally carnivorous.
- 8% of researchers choose Popeye's favourite Spinach.
- A lowly 4% of researchers thought that the carrot was the best vegetable ever.
- No H2G2 reseacher admitted to liking cabbage, onion or Brussel Sprouts
A typically thought provoking vote this one. It makes me wonder just how healthily the average h2g2 researcher eats! Still am I one to talk, a cat who spends most of her life chewing on doughnuts.
1. The cucumber can be up to 20% cooler on the inside than the surrounding air.
2. Onions were used by the Egyptians to replace the eyes removed from mummies.
3. Emperor Nero's favourite vegtable was the Leek. He loved Leek Soup and his nickname was Leekeater.
