The cold weather at the moment (in my hemisphere at least) turned my thoughts to an old entry I started on Fingerless Gloves. Comments appreciated...

It's an awful lot better than the husk of an Entry I left you with.
I didn't spot any errors, although the header 'Material Impact' doesn't quite work for me. You're explaining how the function of the glove and therefore its material determines whether or not you can chop off the tips. However, even after sitting here for a few minutes I can't come up with anything better, sorry.
The only thing I'm wondering about is if the tone is a little too high-brow for the subject. Either that or possibly go even higher-brow (as it were) for comedic effect, but that's hard to do and might not work anyhow.

Like my entry on Wheelie Bins, it is one of those situations where you have to take a step back and aim it somewhere specifically. High or low? Hmm... I'll invariably fiddle with it over the next week or two while it lurks here in Peer Review.
Titles - yes, I know what you mean. I'll take a moment to review that, too.

This Entry seems clear and straightforward to me.
Another place I frequently see fingerless gloves being worn is by market traders, who need to handle money and the goods they are selling, oftne in freezing outdoor conditions.
I also think that (longer) fingerless gloves are worn to provide warmth to the wrist area - stopping cold draughts run up your sleeves ( rather like those leg warmers did in the eighties )

And any leg warmers you might have lying around the back of the wardrobe might also be converted into fingerless 'glittens'...
That's for the feedback!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
