Couscous is a morrocon food made from rolled semolina flour.
One common way of making couscous 1 is to boil up your water and add to it the salt and stock to flavour the couscous. Take one part couscous to two parts water put all of it into a bowl cover and let stand for five minutes or so. Fluff up the couscous with your fork. You can now eat it.
This reasearchers method of making cous cous:
Take your couscous and fry it in a saucepan with a bit of oil, salt, pepper and any other herbs or flavouring. Let it get quite hot so that it fries a little. Pour on some boiling water – not too much (the trick is to get the water to boil at exactly the point that the couscous would burn if you let it cook any longer). Mix it all together, turn off the heat and let it stand for a minute or so.
