What a comprehensive article!
I thought of a couple of things you missed out, and so I had a look through to see what else needed changing while I was at it. So here's a little list of improvements to make this even better than it already is :
the link at the top for AGG/GAG/CAC doesn't work - it should point to #AGGGAG not #agggag
typo: ACEs should try to "make every*one* feel at ease"
Your description of the moderators is out of date. How about "...who read posts which have been complained about ("Yikesed") or posted by a persistent abuser (someone "on premod")..."
talking of which, you might want to add "Premod - short for pre-moderation, is a restriction that can be applied to people who break the House Rules too often. A user on premod can use the site normally, but every post they make will be hidden until it has been checked by a moderator."
you might want to mention "42ism" (meaning the usernumber=42 thing) under "42"
"blog" (or "b'log") as an aka for backlog; not to be confused with "weblog" -> "'blog" -> "blog", which is a term used elsewhere for what h2g2 calls a Journal
Brunel *is* now the default skin
simpost aka simulpost
you might want to mention the UnderGuide somewhere, perhaps in with Alternate Writing Workshop (AWW)
possible a/t under "Thingites": "No No No!!", sometimes referred to as "3N", is almost undoubtedly the longest conversation thread on the site, with well over 50000 posts. (I'd say "nearly 60000", but then it'll just go out of date once we get there )
I haven't heard it lately, but people sometimes refer to "The Modest Proposal", which is/was the user-developed basis of the policy for dealing with banning researchers.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
