I'm glad to hear that it's learnable, I guess I'm at least 10 years older than most of the other pupils... In fact I enjoyed it a lot until the roads became full of ice!

Tried that, too - and also wasn't happy about it. Later, I have actually thought it was good - better to learn a bit about winter driving while you're learning than being surprised by it one day..

True, though I thought it was a bit early - my 4th lesson, I believe...I had just learned how to stop before a crossroads and change gears...
But I certainly need to get used to glazed roads where I live!
